It a great example of partnership, two local dealerships have loaned out some of their 4x4 equipped trucks to help make deliveries to stores via roadways that are still deemed to treacherous for the 18-wheelers to traverse.
Peltier Chevrolet and Peltier Nissan of Tyler, TX have begun partnering with neighboring Brookshire Grocery Company to help make deliveries to stores via new trucks sitting on dealer lots.
In a statement posted to the grocer's official Facebook account, the retailer is leaning on employee "partners" and business partners throughout the area to help stock stores that cannot currently be reached by the company's fleet of 18-wheelers.
While our 18-wheeler trucks are still unable to travel safely, we are loading 4x4 passenger pickup trucks to deliver product to our local stores where possible. HUGE shoutout to our incredible team of employee-partners delivering these loads of products AND to Peltier Nissan & Peltier Chevrolet for loaning us additional 4x4 trucks to grow our delivery fleet. With safety our top priority, we are doing everything we can to serve our community and restock our shelves! #PartneringWithYou
